Faster Daddy Faster
Faster Daddy Faster
When I was young, my little sister would holler, "Faster Daddy Faster." She has a handicap, which keeps her from skiing but when she was tiny enough to fit in a backpack we did just that and off we went. My Dad carved gracefully down the hill carrying this screaming bundle of joy on his back.
Today, as I skied, I thought of my childhood; in the beginning, we wore ski gaiters with jeans, hand-me-downs and we brown bagged it.
Gone are the days of skiers in jeans, but today there were families everywhere. They were doing the same thing we did back then; enjoying time together.
Get away from your computers and get outside together. It doesn't matter what you do but get out.
Bliss...joy.... we've just had a lovely day.
